This commitment is complemented by his role as a wholesaler, enhancing his understanding of styling products.
Throughout his evolving career, Philip’s acclaim for precision scissor work and mastery of the scissor-over-comb technique have flourished. Proficient in fades, styling, and straight razor techniques, he finds joy in crafting diverse men’s hairstyles at our Brick NJ Barbershop. Nicolette has over 5 years in the barbering industry, as well as undergoing extensive training and education. In efforts to showcase her amazing talent, she has performed and competed at various barbering shows with barbers from across the world and has achieved first place titles. Nicolette knows the foundation of all traditional haircuts; however her continuing education keeps her current and up-to-date with all of the newest trends and styles in men’s hair.
Our bilingual barber, Tasha Perez, quickly rose to the TOP at Phily’s Cuts. Her positive energy and barber skills help her produce happy clients, who often leave with a smile, or high-five. Tasha’s personality has her clients feeling like they’ve made a new friend each time they visit. She loves drawing and creating any design her clients ask for.
Tasha knew early on that she would enter the barber industry and has now been cutting hair for five years! “I love the excitement of barbering and the looks on peoples’ faces when they see their newly crafted haircut or stylist shape up.” After completing barbering school, Tasha gained alot of knowledge under owner, and mentor, Phil Cottone who is well known in the barber world. Phil is a naturally gifted man where she said to him, “This is it. Brandon is new to Phily’s, but not new to this trade. He is an experienced master barber for the past 8 years, specializing in tight fades, beards and shaves. Brandon offers superior service, personalized attention and is very detail-oriented. His continued experience includes haircuts, styling, drying, razor shave on back of the neck and side-burns, hot towel finish, beard trim, beard razor line up and after shave finish. He just relocated from Bergen County and had a great following while serving over 200 clients. His past experience included working in salons, barber shops and his own salon suite before relocating. He is here now, ready to meet new people and build up new clientele. Outside of barbering, Brandon is also a highly talented rapper by the name of Unscathed and is currently finishing his third album. He likes to chat about music, technology, movies, etc. If you are looking for a greatly skilled and easy-going barber, then book with Brandon.
